AED Circle Track Carbs for GM 602 & 604 Circle Track Engines

After surveying several circle track racers and talking with a number of authorized engine rebuilders, our tech staff decided to start working on developing affordable GM CTC engine specific carburetors. We contacted AED to help us with this effort. Work started at AED’s engine dyno shop with some brand new Chevrolet Performance circle track engines. It was quickly decided that if these carburetors where to be designed as a bolt-on and race performance carb, that dyno testing , tuning and setup would need to be performed with the various, commonly used fuels including the popular E85 & CHP. After a few months of bench flow testing, adjustments and dyno pulls AED found some hidden horsepower and torque over the GM spec as well as the other brands of carburetors used for these GM CTC engines.

Now the real test was done at the track! Lap after Lap & Tweak after Tweak, these carbs just kept getting better. All this testing has produced these affordable GM crate motor carburetors that just flat out perform and win races.

AED can wet-flow carburetors measuring airflow, fuel flow, manifold vacuum, and air/fuel ratio throughout the entire RPM range. This enables AES to properly match and balance fuel delivery on all throttle bores and control the metering signal and strength at all engine speeds.
