Premium Exhaust Wrap has been improved! With an industry first 1350°F fiberglass wrap. All fiberglass wraps become brittle when reaching their operational temperature of 1200°F. Premium Wrap’s new HPTC coating allows it to remain strong and flexible even while operating at the 1350°F operational temperature!Withstands 1350°F (735°C) continuous, 2000°F (1090°C) intermittent
Protects under hood components
Reduces under hood temperatures up to 50%
Remains flexible and strong
Made in the USA
ALL fiberglass exhaust wraps have a base maximum operating temperature of 1000°F, if coated 1200°F with peak capabilities of 2000°F for less than 30 seconds. Our new HPTC coating, allows our premium wrap to operate at 1350°F continuously. In addition to increasing the temperature parameters, it also allows the wrap to remain flexible and strong. For most header wraps the fiberglass will become weak and brittle at 1000°F, coatings will extend the base temp to 1200°F, but the fibers will still become brittle. With our new coating, not only does it give the fiberglass a higher rated temperature of 1350°F, but it allows the fibers to remain flexible. Flexible fibers will expand and contract with the metal of the exhaust system, ensuring long term maximum heat retention and a longer life! The coating also gives our wraps an increased abrasion resistance even at 1350°F and results less fraying when cutting, installing, fewer loose fibers, and less itch. The black HPTC is deep black and it stays deep black after it has been heat cycled.
Header and exhaust wraps maintain hotter exhaust gases, this decreases the gas density, and that allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! This pulls intake and exhaust gases through the system faster, helping to lower intake temperatures: that equals more horsepower. Premium exhaust wrap reduces radiant heat damage and can lower under hood temperatures by as much as 50%. Lower under hood temperatures can further reduce intake temperatures, which can further increase performance. Our premium grade exhaust heat wrap features a tighter weave than competitors exhaust wraps, retaining more heat, fraying less, and offering a longer lifespan.
