The Phaser Version 1 (V1) camshaft is specifically designed for a stock bore and stroke L92 VVT engine with the truck intake. Valve timing events were timed to optimize characteristics such as VVT capability, manifold volume, manifold flow, manifold runner length, stock cylinder head flow, and even the stock injector flowrate. The cam lobe velocities, accelerations, and jerk are specifically designed for long term reliability. Stock lifters, pushrods, retainers, locks, and rockers are utilized due to the low valvetrain forces.
