Today's electronically-controlled overdrive transmissions can offer excellent fuel economy and performance, but factory transmission controllers often fall short of the mark when it comes to street/strip or retrofit use, let alone all-out racing applications. The revolutionary new TCI® Transmission Control Unit elevates electronically controlled automatic transmissions to a new standard of performance and tunability.

The TCI® Transmission Control Unit is fully-programmable, and can be run as a standalone unit even with a non-computer controlled engine, or in conjunction with OEM or aftermarket engine computers. The TCI® Transmission Control Unit will work with most GM, Ford, and Chrysler electronically-controlled automatic transmissions, and includes a wide array of tuning options including load, gear, rpm and speed-based programming all of which can be adjusted by simply connecting the unit to any Windows® based pc or laptop.

Its ability to communicate with fuel injection systems and other compatible CAN 2.0b devices means that the TCI® Transmission Control Unit uses a simpler, easier to install wiring harness than most other aftermarket transmission controllers. The TCI® Transmission Control Unit includes easy to use T-Com™ software, which allows simple plug and play transmission operation via several built-in programs, as well as custom tuning and programming, data logging, and fault diagnosis. A multitude of digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs, and speed inputs and outputs allows the TCI® Transmission Control Unit to be custom tweaked to fit any requirement, such as steering wheel-based button shifting in a drag race application, or manifold pressure-based shift firmness in a turbocharged application.

TCI® Transmission Wiring Harnesses are fully pre-assembled and tested, making it easy to install even the most advanced computer-controlled transmission. TCU wiring harnesses feature all OEM-style connectors, high temperature oil resistant wiring and puncture-resistant outer sheathing for years of dependable service.

All connections are butt connected, crimped, and soldered for maximum mechanical and electrical integrity. These superb-quality harnesses feature clearly labeled connections, making them simple to install and vastly superior to trying to adapt a confusing, unlabeled factory harness to your new transmission controller.

Remote Throttle Positioning Sensor Kit Information

The new TCI® Remote TPS for Carbureted Applications with a TCI® Transmission Control Unit provides a throttle position reference that allows any carbureted application to use the popular TCI® transmission management electronics.

The TCI® Remote TPS for carbureted, Transmission Control Unit-equipped engines features a simple three-wire design, making it easy to install. The adjustable cable allows for various mounting locations on your engine and the special supplied bracket provides a place to mount the throttle cable as well as giving a professional looking final appearance
