NOTES: The internal measurement on these covers is 2-11/16" from the gasket surface to the tallest point inside. Measurement from valve cover surface to roof of valve cover on pushrod side is 2". With high lift cams, check for proper clearance 2" + gasket thickness is maximum clearance on pushrod side of the cover. These covers feature a welded in baffle underneath each hole. If roller rockers and /or high lift cam are used, the inside wall of valve cover nearest to the pushrods may need to be slightly modified so that rocker arms do not rub. This is true of any cast aluminum valve cover used with roller rockers, due to the larger body of the roller rocker. There may also be an interference condition between the baffles and roller rockers.
