The LS reference covers the many series including LS1/LS6, LS2/L76/L77, LS3/L99, LS4 LS7, LS9, LSA. The LS engine platforms starts with aluminum blocks on all but the Gen III and Gen IV 6.0L and were used in vehicle productions.
