Hedman Hedders has been known for decades as the industry's premier high performance header manufacturer, and BRP Hot Rods is an LS engine swap authority. The two performance "gurus" have joined forces to create these LS Engine Swap Kits that contain practically everything you will need to drop an LS Series engine into a variety of early muscle car chassis. Each swap kit comes with a set of frame and motor mounts, transmission crossmember and transmission mount. Since all the parts were developed as a kit, they eliminate the "trial and error" headaches generated by parts that are not designed to work together.
These kit's frame and engine mounts are rebuildable, and are manufactured using 1/4" cold-rolled steel plate. Urethane bushings, grade 8 bolts and all-metal locknuts come with the kit for a secure mount. The crossmember is compatible with 4L60, 4L65E, 4L80E and T-56 transmissions, and also includes a durable urethane bushing and mounting hardware. Finally, all metal engine and transmission mount components are 007 silver powder coated for a long lasting clean look.
The kit is designed to maintain the factory recommended 3 to 5 (degree) pinion angle using factory front accessories, and will work with OEM oil pans (exact pan will vary between applications).
