This gasket is required for all Vortec design cylinder heads as well as the GM Fastburn and Edelbrock E-tec heads. These gaskets are constructed of a sturdy composite plastic with rubber seal around the ports and may be re-used. (Note: Vortec intake bolts require only 11 ft./lbs. of torque)
