Consists of engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, piston rings, cylinder head assemblies (including valve train components), lifters, camshaft, timing gears and chain, timing chain dampener, front cover, rear cover, oil pump, oil pan and valve covers, unless otherwise specified.

Notes: Aluminum engine block. Reman engine built with two different designed oil pans. Differences are 1st design with threaded hole for oil level sensor. The 2nd design oil pan without hole for oil level sensor. If required, transfer oil pan or procure new pan from GM parts.
If used on 2008 and prior, use original engine oil pressure sensor or procure a new one from GM parts.
