This B&M Precision SportShifter for 1984-2006 BMW 3 Series, 1987-2006 BMW M3 and 1996-2002 BMW 5 Series all gas engines and packs up to a 25% reduction in throw for the ultimate in smooth short shifter technology. The shift stick is a two piece design using a billet T6061 clear anodized aluminum upper stick assembly containing high compression internal O-rings to help reduce transmitting vibrations from the drivetrain, along with a billet 416 stainless steel lower stick in the CNC machined 6061 aluminum shift housing assembly containing the oil impregnated bronze and polymer fiber composite spherical bearing resulting in reduced shift effort for smooth short precise shifts. Includes all necessary hardware and easy to follow instructions for an installation that can be done at home.
