What's the difference? Volant Cool Air Intakes take a different approach to making power. Volant seals conical, high-flow air filter in a box that has more air volume than factory units. This process also eliminates any chance of hot air from contaminating the intake charge to the engine. Volant has had a tradition of designing and manufacturing high-quality intake systems that are constantly tested and improved upon as vehicle models and ECM system become more sophisticated. Willie Garner, the founder of Trans-Dapt Performance, began his fledgling company manufacturing and selling transmission adapters out of his garage. Mr. Garner became so well known for his quality adapters, it wasn’t long before he hired a “right hand man” to do the manufacturing, while Willie went out on the road, selling his product. With Willie’s philosophy of providing a wide selection of quality products at a fair price, Trans-Dapt soon became THE company to call, whenever you needed a transmission, carburetor or oil filter adapter, and within just 4 years, the two man shop in a garage was filling up 40,000 square feet of office, warehouse and manufacturing space. In 2009, that will be 50 years ago... Today, Trans-Dapt Performance Products, which is now part of the Hedman group of performance companies, resides in a 100,000 square foot facility using the latest in CNC machining and CAD design to ensure that Willie Garner’s philosophy of providing quality performance parts is not compromised.

When you purchase a Moroso Oil Pan you can feel comfortable in knowing that our oil pans designs have had a workout on the Dyno and have been tested against competitors products. Our commitment to development does not stop there. This year alone our company has added a new Dodge Challenger SRT8 and a Mustang GT to our in house test fleet. Assuring our customers that the products we offer fit the first time and are of O.E.M. or better quality. As innovators, we are the first to offer custom fit, ready-to-ship Roll Cages and Roll Bar Kits for ’08- up Challenger and ’05- up Mustang owners as an option to costly, full-custom installs without sacrificing safety or quality. These two in-house test cars allow Competition Engineering to continue to bring to market the best chassis components for the latest performance models.

When you design and sell the best-engineered performance products in the world, you have to have a rigorous testing program. Why? Without adequate testing, there’s no way to stand behind your product with confidence. That’s why every product we design and sell at Edelbrock is tested and approved by Edelbrock engineers in a real world environment on state-of-the-art equipment. Our three Super Flow computerized engine dynos are capable of measuring 11 separate engine variables up to speeds of 12,000 rpm. For 2007, we added a new Super Flow SF902 engine dyno. It’s fully automated and programmable to simulate various driving situations, and is equipped with WinDyn software for the very latest in testing equipment. For real-world tuning, there’s our Super Flow model SF-840 eddy-current chassis dyno that can handle up to 1,000 hp at the wheels and speeds of 200 mph. When all testing is completed, the results evaluated, and the part has passed all performance criteria, then, and only then, is the product deemed ready for production.
